Layout:

A free lanced railroad based loosely on the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy and the Santa Fe in northern Colorado. Both railroads have double track mains serving the fictional towns of Nansen, Merkle, Kingsborough, Webster and Swindle.

Traffic base is a mix of grain, coal, industrial goods and perishables. Operations include both passenger and freight movements, and town based switch jobs at Swindle, Webster, Merkle and Kingsborough.

While first generation diesels handle the majority of the motive power assignments, occasionally some steam power is called into service.
